Place of the Meeting:
The Italian National Research Council (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) is a public organization; its duty is to carry out, promote, spread, transfer and improve research activities in the main sectors of knowledge growth and of its applications for the scientific, technological, economic and social development of the Country. CNR-Area di Ricerca Di Roma 2 Tor Vergata (ARTOV) was inaugurated near the University of Tor Vergata (Universita-Degli-Studi-Di-Roma-Tor-Vergata) on the 10th of February 1998 in the presence of Head of State Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, Luigi Berlinguer of the Ministry of the University and Scientific Research, The President of the Institution Lucio Bianco and other eminent personalities amongst which were Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini, Antonio Fazio Governor of the Banca d’Italia and Cardinal Achille Silvestrini. L’Area della Ricerca di Roma 2 Tor Vergata is sited in an important central location from a scientific and cultural point of view. This place is the home for ten Italian national institutes including: the Institute of Neurobiology and Molecular Medicine; Institute of Complex Systems and many more….
